After shooting a teacher six times inside her vehicle, the alleged hitman and the facilitator drove back to the scene of the crime to confirm the job had been done, investigating officer Sergeant Tlonki Matsose told the Vereeniging Regional Court on Thursday.

According to Matsose, Mzwanele Mazeke, 36, allegedly drove past the scene in a different vehicle, accompanied by alleged facilitator Pakiso Makhanya, 39.

Matsose alleged a R20 000 payment was made to Mazeke by Palesa Mofokeng’s ex-husband, 34-year-old Dr Tumelo Raymond Ntholeng.
