Efforts to detain Johannesburg’s City manager, Floyd Brink, faced another setback on Wednesday afternoon after a second arrest attempt proved unsuccessful.
It was the second time, on the day, that the Sheriff of the Court tried to execute an order from an electrical importing company.
Stefan Erasmus, of Gittins Attorneys, who represents Pibir Investments, in legal action against the City and Brink, had tried to execute an arrest on Brink at his home earlier in the day.
