A man was shot dead in a vehicle in Lansdowne, Cape Town, on Wednesday night.
Police officers arrived at the scene at the intersection of Racecourse and Flamingo Roads at around 19:50.
The man sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Western Cape police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi said, and was declared dead at the scene.
