Baby rabbits are born with no fur and their eyes closed!

Unlike their adorable, fluffy counterparts, baby rabbits, called kits, enter the world in a surprisingly undeveloped state! These tiny pink creatures are born with no fur and their eyes sealed shut, relying completely on their mother’s warmth and milk for their first two weeks. Curled up blind and hairless in their nest, they spend this vulnerable time developing their senses and growing their signature fur coat, before finally peeking out at the world with bright, curious eyes.
