News24 | ‘We used our physicality’: First witness in Lifman trial testifies about debt collection assaults

The first witness sworn in at the murder and gangsterism trial of Mark Lifman, Jerome “Donkie” Booysen, Andre Naude and others testified that he worked for Lifman as a debt collector, using his vast size to intimidate people into paying up.  

“If that didn’t work out, we would be physical,” said Mr X.  

Neither he nor his brother may be named, filmed, photographed, or mentioned on social media by court order because he will spill the beans in exchange for possible immunity, and is worried about his family’s safety.
