While the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) issued a statement on Friday morning saying Oscar Pistorius had been released from prison and was “now at home”, it is unclear what time he was released or how he got to the property.

According to the DCS, Pistorius, who was serving a sentence for the 2013 murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, was released from the Atteridgeville Correctional Centre in Pretoria and has been admitted into the system of community corrections as a parolee.
