More than a thousand residents of notorious, gang-invested Helenvale, in Gqeberha, marched through the streets with the chairperson of the DA Federal Council, Helen Zille, on Thursday to demand justice for Emilio Hutchinson, 3, who was murdered in his bed last week.

Zille and fellow party members led chanting residents through potholed roads and with sewage water flowing down several streets, to Gelvandale police station, located approximately 300 metres from the crime scene.

There, she handed over a memorandum demanding that Minister of Police Bheki Cele provide feedback on their demands within 14 days.
