Western Cape police have shut down fresh rumours that little Joshlin Smith was sighted in the Saldanha Bay area during the week.

Friday marks two months since the disappearance of the six-year-old girl – a tragedy that has made international headlines.

Provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie said on Wednesday investigating teams followed up on leads that led them to searching a stormwater drain.
