News24 | Four die, 13 injured after shop wall collapses in Eastern Cape

Four people died and 13 others were injured when the wall of a retail shop collapsed in Ngcobo, the Eastern Cape, on Friday afternoon. 

Eastern Cape Department of Health spokesperson Mkhululi Ndamase said the injured were rushed to the nearby All Saints Hospital.

Ndamase added ambulances were dispatched to the shop shortly after 13:00.  

He said emergency medical services personnel and other rescue workers were still busy with search and rescue efforts to determine if other people were trapped.
