The EFF’s posters, election material and major rallies have all been bankrolled with a R60 million Standard Bank loan.
Initially, it wanted R100 million from Africa’s largest bank, but the EFF only qualified for R60 million.
There was also a R37 million allocation from the Electoral Commission of SA (IEC), which Malema said funded the party’s birthday rally at the FNB Stadium last year.
