Magoola being monitored by Kaizer Chiefs?

Richards Bay keeper Salim Magoola was one of the Natal Rich Boyz’ standout performers last term, especially in the first half of the campaign. Richards Bay struggled at the turn of the year, however, and continues to battle near the basement this season. According to Unplayable on X, Chiefs are poised to make a move for the 28-year-old Ugandan star in January. He kept 12 clean sheets in 27 league appearances in 2022-23.

Not a good look

It’s now 10 consecutive Chiefs appearances for Itumeleng Khune without a clean sheet. After his 28th Soweto Derby appearance ended in a 1-0 defeat, Khune has lost nine of the last 10 matches he’s started for the Glamour Boys. The one win in that sequence was a recent 3-2 success against hapless Cape Town Spurs. It was also his first Soweto Derby start since 2018 and now the longest sequence without a clean sheet in his entire career. Will he be retained in goal vs Swallows?
