The DA is not the ANC’s best choice for a coalition partner, says Cosatu president Zingiswa Losi.

The ANC-aligned union federation held its annual Workers’ Day rally in Athlone, in the Western Cape, on Wednesday amid a fierce election campaign in which the governing party is at risk of losing its national majority for the first time.

The ANC faces the prospect of entering coalitions in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, and potentially at national level, according to the latest pre-election polls.
