A spokesperson has revealed why Prince Harry will not be seeing his father, King Charles during his trip to London, UK this week.

HERE’S WHY PRINCE HARRY WON’T BE SEEING KING CHARLES ON UK TRIP

Prince Harry is returning to the UK this week. The reason for the Duke of Sussex’s visit is for the Invictus Games 10-year celebration ceremony in London. He will be attending a “service of thanksgiving” at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, 8 May. The Invictus Games Foundation was founded by the Duke in 2014 as a multisport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

However, Prince Harry will not be seeing his father, King Charles during his trip. Buckingham Palace revealed that King Charles had cancer in February this year. Shortly after the announcement, Prince Harry flew to the UK to meet with his father.

This time, Prince Harry will not be seeing his father. A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex revealed that Prince Harry will not be seeing King Charles due to his full schedule. The spokesperson went on to say that Prince Harry is understanding of his father’s commitments.

“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the U.K. this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon,” a spokesperson for Prince Harry said to People.

THE DUKE OF SUSSEX’S FIRST APPEARANCE IN UK

Prince Harry joined a panel during his trip to the UK on Tuesday 7 May. As per People, the discussion, “The IGF Conversation: Realizing a Global Community,” is set to reflect on the global community of service personnel as well as the families that the Invictus Games has fostered.

The Mirror reports that Prince Harry was seen visiting Armoury House in East London. The publication also reports that this was less than 1.6km from where his step mother, Queen Camilla was carrying out an engagement at a primary school. Queen Camilla was unveiling a Coronation Library.

King Charles was reportedly seen leaving Windsor Castle headed to London, where he had been holding audiences at Buckingham Palace. This marks Prince Harry’s second trip to the UK since King Charles cancer diagnosis. Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles had cancer in February.
