South Africans are worried about rapper Cassper Nyovest’s life after the shooting of musicians AKA, DJ Sumbody and Vusi Ma R5.

CASSPER NYOVEST BEEFS UP SECURITY
DJ Sumbody, AKA, Vusi Ma R5’s fans are concerned rapper Cassper Nyovest might be the musician to get killed and are praying for his safety.
The rapper Refilwe “Cassper Nyopvest” Phoolo recently revealed he no longer feels safe following the brutal murder of his friend and amapiano pioneer DJ Sumbody, who got shot in November 2022.
According to Zimoja, the Monate Mpolaye hitmaker said he’s beefed up security after someone sent him pictures of a wounded and lifeless DJ Sumbody.
“Someone was so insensitive and sent me pictures of Sumbody’s body in the car after he was gunned down. I only saw parts of the picture and closed it once I realised what it was. I couldn’t bear to see him in that light.

AKA, VUSI MA R5, DJ SUMBODY SHOT DEAD
Tributes are pouring in for rapper 35-year-old rapper AKA real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, who was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road in Durban on Friday, 10 February.
According to IOL, his close friend Tebello Tibz Motsoane who was with him at the time was also shot and killed while his bodyguard has been wounded.
It is reported that two unknown cars opened fire just before 22:00 while the Lemons (Lemonade) hitmaker was standing outside Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down.
AKA’s passing comes barely two weeks after 34-year-old musician Itumeleng Mosoeu, known as Vusi Ma R5 also got shot and killed.
The Bacardi king was gunned to death at a club in Soshanguve in the early hours of Monday, 30 January.
The entertainment industry also lost businessman DJ Sumbody, real name Oupa Sefako in the early hours of Sunday, 20 November 2022.
Sunday World reported that the DJ was on his way to a gig before his annual All White party when unknown people opened fire at his vehicle in Woodmead, Johannesburg, killing him on the spot.
