Teboho Mokoena chose to focus on the positives of Mamelodi Sundowns’ gruelling schedule ahead of facing a well-rested Esperance in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals in Rades, Tunisia, on Saturday at 21:00.

The Brazilians have played five matches in April, which was made slightly better for the club by the fact that four of those matches were based in Gauteng, with the fifth in Cape Town.

During the same period, Esperance played just two games – the return leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast and a league match against second-placed US Monastir.
