South Africa’s Brad Binder was elated after finishing second at the season-opening Qatar MotoGP on Sunday. 

The Red Bull KTM rider followed up his runner-up finish in the Saturday Sprint at the Lusail International Circuit with a confident repeat second position.

Having started fourth on the grid, Binder was off to a flying start and quickly got up to second before he was overtaken by Jorge Martin.
