Award-winning rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA, was fatally shot outside of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, Durban at around 22:00 on Friday, 10 February.
Two unknown vehicles had reportedly opened fire on the rapper, who was hit six times — according to IOL. AKA was not alone when he was killed, he was with his friend Tebello Tibz Motsoane – who was also shot and killed. The rapper’s bodyguard had been wounded.
