The police were responding on Wednesday to reports of an active shooter and “multiple victims” on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the authorities said.
Those on campus were under a lockdown as campus police investigated reports of gunfire at Frank and Estella Beam Hall, a business school building. The conditions of the victims were not clear.
