PRINCE WILLIAM SHARES UPDATE ON KATE MIDDLETON’S HEALTH

Prince William revealed that his wife, Kate Middleton is “doing well” amid her cancer diagnosis. Princess Kate revealed that she had cancer in an emotional video shared on Twitter on 22 March.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful,” she said as she is seen seated on a garden bench at Windsor Castle.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” she continued.

“My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery,” she added.

“Do you mind if I ask how your wife and children are?” the well-wisher reportedly asked.

“All doing well, thank you. Yes, we’re doing well,” responded Prince William.

Prince William returned to royal duties two weeks ago following his wife’s cancer diagnosis. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun that Prince William’s appearance is an indication that the royals are returning to some sense of normalcy.

“Royals realise that every single thing they do sends a message in one way or another. If Catherine had been there, it would have been fantastic, but no one is expecting that,” he said.

This comes after news that Prince Harry will be returning to the UK on Wednesday 8 May.
