Social commentator, author and activist Malaika Mahlatsi says the stereotype that the youth who vote for the ANC, despite the party’s well-documented malfeasance, are “stupid and irrational”, is dangerous and wrong.
Mahlatsi was speaking in Buffalo Park, East London, on Wednesday during a dialogue on her latest book, titled ‘Why We Vote for the ANC’.
Mahlatsi described the ANC as an organisation with a “complicated legacy”.
