While the ANC has several corruption-accused leaders high up on its parliamentary lists, it claims to have no tolerance for corruption, which it believes is anti-poor and anti-working class.

This time around, the ANC says it sought the best candidates, with the most integrity, to represent it in Parliament and the nine provincial legislatures.

During the inaugural News24 Political Leaders Debate in Cape Town, Khalid Sayed, representing the ANC, said the party was doing business differently.
