The Hawks in the Northern Cape arrested two people for alleged child trafficking.

A man and a woman were arrested for alleged child trafficking, after being found with 14 undocumented children in Kimberley.

Hawks spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Tebogo Thebe said the man, 46, and woman, 41, boarded a bus with six girls and eight boys in Midrand, Johannesburg, en route to Cape Town.

The children were between the ages of six and 14.
