A malnourished three-month-old crossbreed puppy has been given a new lease on life.

The dog, who stood at death’s door, was found dumped and gasping for air between rubble at a dumpsite in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. 

The Mdzananda Animal Clinic said Nala the dog was found just over two weeks ago when the organisation’s ambulance was travelling through the area, collecting dogs in need of medical care.
