Thousands of Capetonians attended an event on Saturday to celebrate International Firefighters’ Day, during which they interacted with the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service.
The chief fire officer, Clinton Manuel, said the event aimed to strengthen the relationship between firefighters and the communities they serve.
