The South African Weather Service predicted warm to hot temperatures for several provinces, with fog expected in some places.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kai !Garib, Dawid Kruiper, !Kheis, Kareeberg and Siyathemba Local Municipalities of the Northern Cape.

Gauteng will be fine and warm.

Morning fog is expected in Mpumalanga in the south-east, otherwise it will be fine and warm.

Limpopo can expect fine and warm to hot temperatures.

Morning fog patches are forecast over the western parts of the North West at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot conditions are expected.

The Free State will have morning fog patches in places along the Lesotho border, otherwise it will be fine and cool to warm.

Cloudy and cool conditions, with fog, are forecast for the Northern Cape along the coast and adjacent interior, as well in places in the extreme north-east in the morning, otherwise it will be fine and warm to hot.

The wind along the coast will be a light southerly to south-easterly.

The Western Cape will be cloudy and cool, with fog along the coast and adjacent interior in the morning and evening.

It will be fine and cool to warm, but it will be partly cloudy along the south coast.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the south-west and west coast, becoming a moderate south-easterly along the west coast from late morning.

In the late afternoon, along the south-west coast, a light to moderate southerly to south-westerly is forecast, becoming light and variable overnight.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Cloudy and cool conditions, with fog in places, are expected in the western half of the Eastern Cape along the coast and adjacent interior in the morning and evening.

It will be fine and warm to hot, but partly cloudy along the coast.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming a light southerly in the afternoon, but south-easterly in the evening.

The eastern half of the province will have fog in places in the south-west at first.

It will be fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy from the west along the coast in the afternoon, but cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior in the evening, with light rain in places.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming a light south-easterly in the afternoon, with a light south-westerly wind in the evening.

KwaZulu-Natal will be fine and warm, but hot in the east.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly, becoming south-westerly from the south in the late afternoon.
