President Cyril Ramaphosa says he expects the  International Criminal Court to make a pronouncement on the Middle East conflict soon.

Without explicitly saying what he wanted the court to do, Ramaphosa again expressed “deep concern” at the Israeli government’s continued “disregard” of the injunctions made by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) alongside resolutions passed at the UN.

“We are dealing here with a state that has decided that it is going to be a law unto itself, so our concern deepens when we see what intentions they have on Rafah and the people in Rafah,” he said.
