News24 | Old Mutual CEO earned 180 times more than lowest-paid staff – a smaller gap than US average

The pay package for Iain Williamson, Old Mutual’s CEO, was almost 180 times more than that of the financial service group’s lowest-paid worker in 2023 and it may rise to 215 times if certain awards come due, according to the company.

Williamson’s total single-figure pay, which listed companies have to provide in SA, amounted to R32.3 million for 2023. That was about a 46% increase from the year before.
