Minister in the Presidency Maropene Ramokgopa will be the shareholder representative of Eskom, Transnet, Denel, and other state-owned enterprises housed in the Department of Public Enterprises until a new shareholder model has been developed. 

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Sunday that the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) would no longer exist.
