The Labour Court has thrown out former national police commissioner Khomotso Phahlane’s attempt to challenge his dismissal.
On Thursday, Acting Judge Rosalind Davey dismissed Phahlane’s leave to appeal application, finding that he wilfully and intentionally refused to comply with the police’s contractual obligations without a sound basis.
She said she believed no court would come to a different conclusion.
