The ANC’s election campaign has faced a major hurdle as election posters – a critical part of the party’s campaign – have not been delivered and put up in time.

The ANC has acknowledged that a delay in securing election posters has negatively impacted its campaign for the May general elections.

Mdumiseni Ntuli, the ANC head of elections, attributed the delay partly to supply and demand hiccups due to the emergence of new political parties, which had saturated the political scene.
