Extremely high fire danger conditions have been forecast for some parts of the coastal provinces on Sunday.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central parts of the Northern Cape, northern interior of the Eastern Cape, and eastern interior of the Western Cape.

The SAWS also released a Yellow Level 2 warning of damaging interior winds resulting in localised problems for high-sided vehicles in some routes in the southern and south eastern parts of Northern Cape.
