North West police have made a breakthrough and arrested two men linked to the murder of Constable Mogoro Clement Makola.

The off-duty officer was shot dead on 15 April in Lekgalong village near Marikana outside Rustenburg.

“Makola was coming out of the shop when approached by the three unknown men, and one of them pointed him with a firearm and demanded money,” police said at the time.
