DA leader John Steenhuisen is confident the ANC will lose its outright majority that it used to subject South Africans to unemployment, corruption, and misrule over the past three decades.

On Sunday, ahead of Wednesday’s general elections, Steenhuisen called on about 12 000 supporters attending a rally in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, to deliver a decisive win for the party at the last mass event before the polls.

According to him, the party was going to bring to a close the ANC’s chapter in South Africa’s history.
