A Soweto family who followed blood stains from the spot where their loved one was beaten to death assisted the police in arresting a couple with crucial evidence linking them to the offence.
According to Mandla Nyaqela, his cousin, Bafana Mgwadleka, 28, was brutally assaulted until he died on Saturday night.
Mgwadleka was last seen visiting his girlfriend in Dobsonville. The accused are the girlfriend’s parents.
