ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula says although opposition parties launched grand “Ferrari and Porsches” campaigns, the ruling party is sticking to its own strategy, which is starting to pick up speed.

On the sidelines of a community meeting in Zwelitsha in eThekwini, KwaZulu-Natal, News24 asked Mbalula whether the party’s financial constraints led to it having fewer posters than it has historically had in general election campaigns.

Notably, newbies Rise Mzantsi, the DA and the EFF and others pulled out all the stops when it came to the number of posters they have on streetlights and billboards.
