The police task team investigating political killings, and AfriForum, are at odds over the investigation into the the assassination of KwaZulu-Natal DA councillor Nhlalayenza Ndlovu.

Ndlovu, who was the DA’s PR councillor and chief whip of the uMngeni Local Municipality in Howick, was gunned down in full view of his wife and children in December.

AfriForum’s private prosecution unit last week claimed it secured potentially critical evidence that could solve the investigation into the politically motivated killing.
