A 23-year-old Germiston woman who was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for aiding and abetting her lover to kill and abuse her children was never a mother but was only someone who gave birth to the three children.

This is according to activist Luke Lamprecht from Women and Men Against Child Abuse (WMACA), who was reacting to the lengthy jail term handed to the mother and her lover on Monday.

“She is not remorseful for her actions. You can clearly see that these are children whose births were never celebrated, and the death of the youngest one was never mourned,” Lamprecht said.
