JOHANNESBURG – The career of musician, Loyiso Gijana, professionally known as Lloyiso has skyrocketed since the country first witnessed his talent over a decade ago.
The singer-songwriter recently announced his upcoming international shows, set to be held in New York and Los Angeles later this month.
“NY & LA! 🇺🇸 I’m so excited to announce my upcoming shows. Tickets for NY are on sale now at the link in my bio. LA goes on sale Monday. Can’t wait to see you,” he said in an Instagram post.
In March, Lloyiso released his debut EP Seasons which he described as “the first of the beautiful journey”.
A month later, he lit up a billboard on New York Times Square.
And most recently, his single, _Speak _was featured in the US sports drama tv series All American.
The 24-year-old has achieved significant success since being a contestant on Idols’ 11th season in 2015.
In 2021, the soulful singer signed with renowned record label Republic Records for the first time, which is behind award-winning artists like Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Drake.
Last year, Lloyiso sang at the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham, the son of legendary footballer David Beckham – the singer’s first international gig.
