Actor Zola Hashatsi who acted alongside Mpho Sebeng in Rhythm City reveals the star passed away on Sunday morning, 5 May.
Hashatsi also reveals that the 30-year-old actor died in a car accident around Klerksdorp [in the North West province].

The Estate star Mpho Sebeng shared his last Instagram post on Saturday, 4 May the day before he died.
Sebeng shared a photo from his photoshoot and captioned it: “The art of living lies in the mingling of letting go and holding on.”
His former CrazeE and Rhythm City co-star @zola_hashatsi confirmed his passing on X: “It is with a sad, deep, painful heart to announce the passing of a young brother and friend, I took in to replace us when we exited @craze_t.”
“A thespian that was @mpho_sebeng. He was in car accident this morning around Klerksdorp, this one hurts. #RIPMphoSebeng”, says Hashatsi.
The Citizen reports that Sebeng was travelling with another person when the accident occurred on Sunday morning.
Hashatsi also tells the publication that Sebeng was a great colleague and great at what he did.
“He was a great colleague. When he came to Craze, I knew this was someone who was absolutely talented and never saw himself as above anyone else. He was great at what he did. I was six years older than him. I was not only his friend, but I was also his older brother.”
