KAIZER CHIEFS CRACKDOWN ON PLAYERS OVER LEAKED INFORMATION

The club has been making headlines for the wrong reasons, from poor run of form to alleged tension and other related issues. Against Itumeleng Khune’s suspension, it was reported that the club was marred with ‘racial tension’, which was taking a toll on the squad’s selection.

However, against the daring allegations, Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson rubbished the claims and made it known that there was no tension at the club.

Speaking to the media, Johnson said: “Kaizer Chiefs being the brand they are, I think there are a lot of people that look to take this big brand to a lower level because, in reality, there’s no brand that’s as strong as this brand.”

Reports have it that senior Kaizer Chiefs players were also disturbed by the daring allegations and vowed to help the club resolve the problem. No doubt, a string of claims flooded social media in the backdrop of Itumeleng Khune’s suspension.
