‘Grateful’: New photo of Handre and Marise Pollard’s baby boy

Marise Pollard, the wife of Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard, shared a new photo of their baby boy Hunter via Instagram on Sunday 5 May.

Marise has since shared videos from the day she gave birth and the first few days of Hunter’s life. This included videos of Handre bonding with his newborn son.

“The Lord knows the best thing that i’ll ever do is growing up raising you 🧸. One week with our Hunter boy, and man oh man, we are so in love 🤍,” she wrote.

Handre and Marise tied the knot in 2017 in a beautiful ceremony in  Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The pair met through Facebook.

This is the third baby in the Springboks family. Anlia and Eben Etzebeth welcomed their baby girl on 16 January. A month later, Faf and Mine de Klerk welcomed their baby girl, Remi-Ré de Klerk, on 27 February. Mine recently shared a rare photo of their beautiful baby girl.

Marise revealed that she was having a baby boy in January, when she shared photos from her baby shower. The baby shower was held at the Brookdale Estate in Paarl, Winelands situated in the Western Cape.

“A day filled with so much love for our BABY BOY 💙. We are immensely grateful for being able to celebrate our main squeeze 🍋 with some of our favourite people. Thank you to everyone who made it an unforgettable day of celebration and love,” she wrote.

“Will be sharing glimpses of the memories made and the details in the coming days ☀️,” she continued.
