Forward Bayliss to stay with Bath until 2027

Josh Bayliss claps his hands on the pitch during a Champions Cup match for Bath

Scotland forward Josh Bayliss has signed a new three-year deal with Bath to stay with the club until 2027.

The 26-year-old versatile loose forward has made 110 appearances for Bath since his debut in 2016.

Bayliss, who can play in both the second row and back row, has played three times this campaign after undergoing surgery on a thigh injury suffered during preseason training.

Bayliss came through Bath’s academy and has been capped five times by Scotland.

“Speed is one of Josh’s main attributes,” said Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan.

“The fact that he can play across the back row, he’s a line-out caller and he can also play across the back line if needed makes Josh a true asset to our club. Josh is a key member of our journey on and off the pitch.”
