Ex-Pirates darling training with ABC Motsepe outfit

To keep fit, ex-Orlando Pirates fan darling and midfielder Xola Mlambo is now training with the ABC Motsepe League outfit.

The talented former Pirates midfielder and darling resurfaces at Wits University FC in the ABC Motsepe League after recently parting ways with TS Galaxy where he was in limbo.

Formerly a darling of AmaZulu and Pirates, Mlambo says he is grateful to the Johannesburg-based ABC Motsepe League outfit, for always giving him a chance whenever he calls.

The Soweto-born ex-Pirates star and darling states that it feels great to return to the field of play as he trains with the ABC Motsepe outfit.

EX-PIRATES DARLING TRAINING WITH ABC MOTSEPE OUTFIT

As a free agent, it remains unclear if the ex-Buccaneers darling, Mlambo will eventually sign for Wits in the ABC Motsepe League and revive his ailing football career.

The former Pirates darling left the Soweto giants to join Usuthu in Durban but he decided to move to Galaxy and parted ways with the Rockets at the beginning of the current term.

“I’m always welcomed to train with Black Poison [amateur team in Soweto], and now I was welcomed to train at Wits,” said the ex-Pirates darling to FARPost.

“So I’m always welcome to come and train with the guys. It’s good because it’s been a while since I enjoyed myself in the field of play.

“So, going to Wits training with the guys brought out the greater love I have for football.”

The 32-year-old Mlambo who was a fan darling at Pirates under ex-coaches Milutin Sredojevic and Rulani Mokwena, adds that he is grateful to the ABC Motsepe League outfit, Wits.

“I’m grateful for those people [at Wits] because they always avail themselves whenever I shout,” adds the ex-Pirates darling nicknamed ‘Ten Ten’.

“They always raise their hands to want to see me doing good. So I appreciate their presence in my life.”
