Entertaiment commentator Phil Mphela reports that DJ Sumbody’s friend, DJ Vettys was involved in a shooting after his gig.
“DJ Vettys shot. According to a statement, the DJ was involved in a shooting after his gig last night, Monday 29 January. He is in critical condition and receiving medical attention in hospital,” reports Mphela.
The musician’s management reveals in a statement that he’s in a critical condition and is being treated at an undisclosed hospital.
Vettys, who was friends with Oupa John Sefoka aka DJ Sumbody featured on hits like Ngwana Daddy, Monate Mpolaye etc.
Sefoka died in a hail of bullets in the early hours of Sunday, 20 November 2022. morning in Johannesburg.
