A humble Kenyan construction worker has done what many people would honestly never consider — return to work after winning millions. The plant worker, Jackson Mutiso, reportedly won a R2.7 million jackpot from an online sports betting site. Instead of spending his days living like a king, he returned to work and his living his life almost as if he isn’t a millionaire.
His story has been shared dozens of times by social media users who are shocked at his decision. Many are glad that he probably won’t end up on hilarious reality TV show, I blew it.

Winning a large amount of money is something many dream about but only a few actually get to experience it.
Over the years, we’ve read many tales about jackpot winners who lost it all after only a few years of living the high life.

While poor money management is mostly to blame, deciding to leave their jobs and stop generating money completely may play a role.
One smart guy, Mutiso, decided to return to work shortly after winning a SportPeso R2.7 million jackpot.

This jackpot winner is ‘thinking about the future’
Briefly News reports that Mutiso’s boss and colleagues were all surprised after he showed up at work as they all expected to hand in his resignation with immediate effect.
Meanwhile the level-headed plant operator says that work is an “essential part of his identity”. He also wants to remain able to provide financial security for his family.
“I am in no rush to spend the money. In fact, I will put a huge chunk of it into a fixed account and as it matures I will see the best ways to make a better life for my family,” he told the betting company after winning.
Those who have heard his story have praised him for staying humble while wishing him well on his journey ahead.
