Giyani: Land of Blood actor Wiseman Zitha has secured a role in Mzansi Magic’s upcoming drama series, Queen Modjadji.
WISEMAN ZITHA: LATEST ROLE
Entertainment commentator Jabu Mcdonald reports that the talented actor Wiseman Zitha will play Mamaila in Queen Modjadji.
The Queen Modjadji actor will star alongside actress Ngelekanyo Ramulodi, who portrays Young Queen Modjadji in the series.
Bona reports that beauty queens Shudu Musida and Ndavi Nokeri, who hail from the Limpopo province will play queens in the upcoming drama series
Nokeri will portray Muthanoni Khensani, who is one of Queen Modjadji’s wives from the Tsonga Royal Family, while Musida portrays Muthanoni Mulalo another wife of the wives from the Venda Royal Family.
The Xitsonga actor is famously known for his TV roles in Mzansi Magic’s Rockville and SABC’s Giyani: Land of Blood.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ‘QUEEN MODJADJI’
DStv reveals that Queen Modjaji is produced by Rhythm World Productions, who’ve produced Sibongile and The Dlaminis, My Brother’s Keeper, Umkhokha: The Curse and many more.
Queen Modjadji is already well underway and the team behind the title has been researching and consulting with key stakeholders.
The team has consulted tribal leaders, and academic experts. Scripting and casting for the series is nearing completion and filming will soon start.
